I was born in New Zealand and have also lived a significant part of my life on the west coast of Canada. I hold an MSc in Psychology and have studied and worked in psychological medicine, clinical case management, community psychology and transpersonal psychology for more than 20 years in New Zealand, Canada, Japan and Switzerland. I am a prolific traveller who enjoys exploring & learning about different cultures, traditions and people.
Despite the many joys living in a foreign country brings, I also know the challenges that can arise from the adjustment to a new culture. As a teenager, I left home and moved across the world to make my own way and have barely stopped since.
Adding to my formal studies in psychology, I have continued to learn and gather invaluable resources that provide me with the tools to work with the transitions, separation from friends and family, relationship difficulties, health challenges & pressure from work.
I want to enjoy life to the fullest and to never stop growing and learning. Breathwork, Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Vipassana, Ayurveda, Qi Gong and the ancient sciences and philosophies of the East have enriched my own life and it is with great joy that I share their wisdom with you.
Yoga changed my life and guided me to my true self. My breath has aligned me with my highest self and given me profound healing, showed me immense joy and taught me to love and trust. Ayurveda has connected me to the rhythms of nature and taught me the importance of daily routines. Meditation has guided me to the stillness I AM and to dissolve fears, anger, grief and insecurity.
Peace, joy and fullness in life is our birthright and something I wish for all of you.
