Originally from New Zealand, I have also lived a significant part of my life on the west coast of Canada. I hold an MSc in Psychology and have studied and worked in psychological medicine, clinical case management, community psychology and transpersonal psychology since 1995. I am also a prolific traveler who enjoys exploring & learning about different cultures, traditions and people.
As a teenager, I left home and moved across the world to make my own way. Despite the many joys that living in a foreign country can bring, I also know the challenges that can arise when adjusting to a new culture.
Adding to my formal studies in psychology, I have continued to learn and gather invaluable resources that provide me with the tools to work with life transitions, separation from friends and family, relationship difficulties, health challenges & pressure from work. Integrative breathwork, yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, shamanism, ancestral healing, vipassana, qi gong, and the ancient healing arts have enriched my own life and it is with great joy that I share their wisdom with you.
Yoga and meditation have changed my life and guided me to my true self. My breath has aligned me with my highest self and given me profound healing, opened me to immense joy and taught me to love and trust. Ayurveda has connected me to the rhythms of nature and taught me the importance of daily routines. Shamanism has guided me to the medicine of nature and dissolved fears, anger, grief and insecurity.
That's enough about me for now...I am much more interested in learning about you.
Come say hello and tell me how you would like to feel so that together we can creatively align the daily demands of work, family & life so that you become more energised, happy and inspired to align your choices with what is important.
