Private Classes
I offer private one-on-one lessons for people who would prefer a more holistic & personal approach. My private students have included those who are new to yoga and professional athletes, to those who wish to grow an aspect of their practice or recover from an injury or specific medical concern.

Corporate Yoga & Workshops
Yoga in the workplace has become increasingly popular with significant benefits for both the employer & employee.
Many companies like Nike, Apple, Motorola, Google, and General Motors offer classes to their employees as part of their stress reduction and corporate wellness programs, & Swiss companies are slowly but surely getting on board too. Corporate yoga has a positive influence on self care, stress reduction, morale, confidence and overall health & well-being (less sick days & disability costs)- all of which significantly cuts operating costs.
In the recent EU-funded project carried out by Matrix (2013), the cost to Europe of work-related depression was estimated to be €617 billion annually. The total was made up of costs to employers resulting from absenteeism and presenteeism (€272 billion), loss of productivity (€242 billion), health care costs of €63 billion and social welfare costs in the form of disability benefit payments (€39 billion). This does not account for employee turnover and direct legal and insurance fees.
In Switzerland alone, this study estimated an annual cost of 4.2 billion CHF to employers (EU-OSHA, 2013) and an astonishing 4.6% of the Swiss sample attributed stress to non-work stressors only.
Without question, the performance of a corporation depends on the performance of its key assets—employees. Healthy employees are more productive and more cost effective.
One of the many benefits of my combined psychology and yoga approach is developing an awareness of the effects of stress in our lives, and the skills with which to manage them. These benefits naturally extend from the individual participant to the work environment in which they are contributing. Regular practice is known to bring improved health in mind and body, increased energy, well-being and productivity.
Unlike other exercise routines yoga is low impact, improves strength and flexibility, builds concentration, and reduces mental and physical stress and tension. In addition, yoga is known to eradicate fatigue and generate energy , all of which lead to increased productivity and morale. Yoga exercises are simple and can be modified for different skill levels and abilities - perfect for the office environment!
